Lou has been instrumental in developing and growing an
independent dealer organization, judged by its volume to be the number one
security alarm dealer program in the United States. He followed up that
accomplishment by developing and then growing the largest international dealer
organization outside the United States. Sepulveda has developed and managed
direct sales organizations in the United States and in thirty countries around
the world. Those offices quickly became the market leader in every country in
which they operated, proving that language and cultural differences make little
difference in creating success.
All-Pro Security - Lou was hired as President
and CEO of this Security Alarm and Monitoring company. Under Lou's management
All-Pro Security grew to be the number one Security Sales and Installation
Company in the New Orleans area.
B.E.A.R.S. Patrol Service Company - Lou was
appointed Chairman and CEO of this start-up Security Patrol Company. Lou grew
the company from 2 cars patrolling the New Orleans area to 22 cars. B.E.A.R.S
quickly became the best known and respected patrol company in the area it
served.
The Alert Centre - Lou was hired by this Nationwide Security Alarm
Company to fill two roles. First as General Manager of the New Orleans office
which included a UL Monitoring facility, and second as Regional Sales Manager.
Once again Lou proved his ability by growing this company to a high ranking
position within the Alert Centre organization.
Interactive Technologies Inc.
(ITI) - Lou was employed by this company as a consultant to provide two
immediate results. First to motivate and turn around a nationwide sales force
that had lost direction and was clearly not motivated. As a result the company
had suffered flat to negative growth the prior two years. Once again Lou turned
around the attitude of the sales force. He got them motivated, inspired and
ready to produce. By the end of the first year Lou succeeded in growing ITI's
business 12% after two years of flat to negative growth.
Second, Lou was
asked to develop and conduct a multi-day management training program which ITI
sold and delivered to its dealers. Results was a 5 day intensive management
program that delivered rave reviews and sales growth from the dealers that
attended.
Third, Lou was asked to develop and then lead an Authorized Dealer
program for ITI branded equipment. Results: Lou formed the ITI Security Pro
Program.
ADT Security Systems - Lou was hired by ADT to develop and then
manage an Authorized Dealer Program utilizing the ADT name and brand. ADT had
tried and failed twice previously to start a successful dealer program which
prompted them to seek Lou's knowledge and experience.
Results - Lou developed
what is now considered the single most successful dealer program ever. While
every year was better than the previous year, by year two ADT's dealer program
by itself was the second biggest producer of new monitored accounts behind the
ADT branches. By the end of year three The ADT Dealer program passed its parent
company ADT in new monitored account volume and was now the clear leader in the
industry. By the end of 2002 Lou's ADT Dealer program was producing over 700,000
new monitored accounts per year at an average RMR of $30 per month. (Over $21
million dollars per month in RMR growth.)
TYCO International - Lou was
retained by Tyco International to duplicate the US dealer program and launch it
in markets around the world. Prior to retaining Lou Tyco tried launching the
program utilizing its Senior Management team in each foreign market but failed
in that effort.
After retaining Lou to develop and manage that process Lou
opened 15 countries in the first year, 10 countries the second year, and an
additional 5 countries the third year. By the end of 2002 Lou's International
group was producing over 1 million new monitored accounts on an annual basis.
The addition added over $30 million dollars per month to recurring
revenue.
SAI ( Security Associates International) - Lou was retained by SAI
to develop an Authorized Dealer program for SAI. Previous SAI was only a
contract monitoring business which produced marginally profitable
margins.
Lou was successful in meeting and exceeding SAI-s growth goals for
new monitored revenue.
